I am completing my three-year commercial apprenticeship (EFZ – Swiss Federal VET Diploma) at Mercedes-Benz Automobil AG (Merbag) in Zurich, graduating in August 2026.
Merbag is one of Switzerland's leading independent automotive groups and one of the largest Mercedes-Benz partners in Europe. Founded in 1912, the company operates 64 locations across Switzerland, Luxembourg, Italy, Austria and Germany.
During the apprenticeship, I went through a structured rotation across accounting, vehicle operations, HR administration and customer-facing business processes. In doing so, I supported financial accounting – accounts receivable, general ledger entries and the preparation of the monthly close – as well as operational coordination in vehicle scheduling.
Through direct customer contact and internal coordination, I developed strong communication and organisational skills and learned to document precisely within structured corporate processes.
