Understanding how the economy connects – from accounting through to the capital markets – is one of my greatest passions.
During my apprenticeship at Merbag, I gained hands-on experience in financial accounting: accounts receivable, general ledger entries and preparing the monthly closing. This foundation sharpens my understanding of the numbers behind business decisions.
My interest extends beyond accounting to money and capital markets, banking and financial technology. I deepen this knowledge through recognised programmes – such as "Master Financial Fundamentals" (Harvard Business Review), "FinTech" (University of Pennsylvania) and "Introduction to Banking" (Corporate Finance Institute).
I seek direct exchange through the Zürcher Volkswirtschaftliche Gesellschaft (Zurich Economic Society) – including at the lecture on monetary policy by SNB Chairman Dr. Martin Schlegel.
